Workshop: Getting Started with the Arduino Microcontroller
MODIFIED CLASS DATE
The original dates for the March session of this workshop were for the 19th and the 26th. They have been moved to March 26th and April 2nd, still from 6pm-8pm.
Program the world around you with the Arduino microcontroller.
Using sensors, this platform allows users to create electronic devices that respond to external stimuli. The Arduino is a perfect introduction to writing software, it was designed for beginners. So even if you've never programmed anything before, this workshop is for you.
This workshop is conducted as a 2 part series. Part 1 will focus on coding with the Arduino. In Part 2, workshop participants will learn to connect the Arduino to sensors and to use these sensors to gather data, such as temperature and color.
Ages: 12 through Adult
Note: This workshop consists of two sessions on subsequent weeks. Make sure you're able to attend both sessions before signing up.
