Temperature Sensor - Module

From RobotDyn, this DS18B20 Digital Thermometer provides 9 to 12-bit (configurable) temperature readings which indicate the temperature reading. Information is sent to/from the DS18B20 over a 1-Wire interface, so that only one wire (and ground) needs to be connected from a microcontroller--like an Arduino--or a Raspberry Pi.

The DS18B20 can be powered with any voltage from 3.0V to 5.5V, so you can simply connect its GND and VDD pins to the corresponding GND and +3.3V or +5V output from an Arduino or Raspberry Pi. However, the DS18B20 can also be powered via the data line, meaning we really only need connect two wires to it. This makes it easy to get up and running in no time!
